I have a prospect list I am importing in and there are many fields which do not exist in the company or people tab . How do I add custom fields to the company or people tabs?

Great, at least I think so. But how do I get my custom fields filled when using the web-to-lead feature. Do I have to use the People[customfield] naming or wil Lead[customfield] do the trick...
If somebody has an answer for me, don't hesitate to reply...

Hello Hans - We're in the process of updating Web-to-Leads to support the new custom fields. In the meantime, you can still use the Legacy version of Custom Fields via Web-to-Lead. Here's an example of the code you would use:
<input type="hidden" name="lead[custom_label_1]" value="birthday />
<p><label>Birthday:</label><br />
<input type="text" name="lead[custom_value_1]" />
<input type="hidden" name="lead[custom_label_1]" value="Favorite Color/>
<p><label>Favorite Color:</label><br />
<input type="text" name="lead[custom_value_1]" />
We'll update everyone as soon as we've released an update for Web-to-Leads.

Hi Guys. I would love to be able to set global custom Fields in Contacts, just as I can with Deal. As of now, every time I enter a new contact, I need to set up custom fields client by client
